John grew up in Flushing, Michigan and earned a BBA in Marketing from the University of Michigan - Flint in 1995. He has been involved in youth ministry since 1995 and has served as the interim director and director of a few youth ministries. In 2003 John began to work part-time with his church as Media Director. In 2007 he moved to Pennsylvania and joined Central as the Communications Director and also began serving with the Rock Youth Ministry team at Central. John is currently studying and seeking certification through Berean School of the Bible.

I can't live without...my friends, motorsports...and food & water
Most embarrasing moment: When I was in first place and then crashed my racecar without help and had to walk back to the pits in front of the whole crowd.
Best Memory: watching the sunset on a Lake Michigan beach while talking with my best friends about all the things we've come through together...or maybe checking out of a third world hospital after spending a few days there while in the Philippines.
Favorite Activity: racing cars...but I can't afford to do it anymore
