Community Impact Week 2010

This past fall a team of volunteers from Central Assembly of God Church, Houston, PA completed a formal Needs Assessment within a 5 mile radius of central Washington County. It included hundreds of surveys with community residents, along with 65 interviews with business owners, non-profit agencies, educators, school administrators, judges, public servants and borough, township and county officials.
Our goals for the Needs Assessment were:
1. Build new community relationships.
2. Identify the greatest needs in local communities.
3. Launch specific outreach efforts that will positively influence our local culture.
We received valuable insight from our discussions and are grateful for those who participated. The obvious reality is that everyone has needs. However, what are the greatest needs that exist right here in our local communities? Over and over again, we heard the subject of…READ ENTIRE REPORT HERE.
